Amazing vets - thoroughly recommend them. We were pleased with the boarding experience, though some aspects of the more neutral reviews resonated with our experience. Rehoming - I’m sure they are inundated with enquiries, but 3 weeks between email responses is a bit ridiculous. That’s a month and a half for a two-email exchange. You can’t drop in without an appointment, so you’re entirely at the mercy of their communication turnaround. Sadly I think we’ll have to end up buying from a breeder than treading water, waiting to hear back from them.

Lying bullies who stole our puppy. Our 9-month-old Labrador had an accident. St Giles demanded £5,000 upfront, refused a payment plan, and gave us 4 days to find it. When we couldn’t, they sent the RSPCA to our door like bailiffs — using lies about our puppy’s pain to force us into giving him up. These are nasty, heartless people hiding behind a charity badge. They then amputated his leg and had the audacity to post it on social media to squeeze donations out of people — using OUR dog, who they bullied us into surrendering. If your pet is sick and you don’t have thousands in cash, they will lie, bully, and manipulate you until they get what they want. Stay away. Protect your pet. Do not trust these people.

Attended the animal handling session for children. Mark was fantastic! He was enthusiastic with the children and complemented their designs during the craft session. He clearly adores the animals at St Giles and his knowledge on the breeds and how they handle the animals at St Giles was brilliant. He handles the animals with care and consideration ensuring we all knew how to approach them and what each animals temperament was.
